Can I Bring My Own Items?
What to check before supplying garments, bags or other items for decoration.
Start with a photo, not a purchase
We accept customer-supplied items for many embroidery and printing projects, subject to review. Before buying items specifically for decoration, send us the item details, artwork and intended placement. A customer-supplied goods fee applies; we confirm the charge with your inquiry.
Show the whole item and the decoration area
Include a photo of the whole item, a close-up of the proposed location and any available material or product information. Tell us how many items you have, whether they are all the same and when you need them. For bags, backpacks, golf bags or upholstery, construction and access behind the area can determine whether embroidery is possible.
Match the item to the method
For embroidery, seams, thickness and access for stitching all matter. For heat transfers, material compatibility and heat sensitivity need review. A design that works on one garment may not work on another. We’ll help you consider a suitable method after looking at the actual item and artwork.
Confirm the details before bringing items in
Ask us to confirm suitability, decoration size, placement, charges and timing. Review of one item does not establish that every similar-looking item can be decorated. If your group has different garments or sizes, list the variations with your request.
What to send
- Item type, brand/style and material information, if known.
- Photos of the whole item and intended decoration area.
- Artwork, approximate design dimensions and placement.
- Quantity, item variations and your required date.
