A lasting impression, stitched in thread

Embroidery stitches your artwork directly into fabric for a textured, dimensional finish. It is our most durable decoration option and a strong choice for professional apparel that will be worn regularly. Joy Embroidery serves Riverside businesses, schools, teams and individuals, from a single personalized item to apparel for a whole group.

Business apparel & uniforms

Embroidered polos, hats, jackets and workwear give your team a polished, consistent appearance. Share your logo, garment preferences, quantity and placement ideas so we can review the design and prepare a quote.

Graduation stoles & sashes

Personalize graduation stoles and sashes with embroidery. These projects are especially popular during graduation season, including among the UCR community. Contact us early with the item, design and graduation date so we can review placement and timing.

Beyond shirts and hats

We also review embroidery projects for bags, backpacks, personalized golf bags, table covers and tablecloths, and auto upholstery. The item’s material, construction and access to the stitching area determine what is possible. Send photos of the actual item and the desired embroidery location before bringing it in.

No minimum order is required for embroidery. Customer-supplied items are subject to review and an additional fee.

Choosing embroidery for your design

Embroidery works particularly well for logos and personalization on suitable garments and accessories. Very small lettering, intricate details and some color effects may need adjustments or suit a different method. We’ll help you consider DTF transfers, screen printing or embroidered patches when they are a better match.

New embroidery artwork may require digitizing: preparing the design for the embroidery machine. Any applicable setup charges are quoted separately. Include artwork, approximate design size, item photos, quantity and deadline with your inquiry.

Questions before you order

Will my logo look exactly like the image I send?

Thread has texture and needs room to form stitches. Small lettering, thin lines, gradients and closely spaced details may need simplification. Send the original artwork and intended design size so we can review what will remain clear in thread.

What is digitizing, and is it the same as a logo file?

Digitizing turns artwork into stitch instructions for an embroidery machine. A JPG, PNG or vector logo is a starting point, not a stitch file. If you already have an embroidery file, include it with your inquiry so we can review it. Applicable setup is quoted separately.

Can you embroider my bag, golf bag or upholstery?

Possibly. The material, thickness, seams and access behind the decoration area all matter. Send clear photos of the whole item and the requested placement before bringing it in. Customer-supplied items require review and an additional fee.

Should I choose direct embroidery or an embroidered patch?

Direct embroidery stitches into the item itself. A patch is a separate embroidered emblem. The desired look, design size and item construction help determine the better option. Explore custom patches.
